Reflecting on an inspiring week at #ChildHealthCan2026 in Calgary, Canada.
Last week, Doktor Universe had the privilege of attending the 2026 Children's Health Conference, where healthcare professionals, researchers, innovators and advocates came together with a shared goal: improving the hospital experience for children and their families.
It was inspiring to meet so many dedicated people who are working every day to make healthcare more child-friendly, compassionate and effective. The conversations, insights and shared commitment to pediatric care reminded us how much can be achieved when we work together.
A special thank you to Children's Healthcare Canada, Solutions for Kids in Pain (SKIP), and Alberta Children's Hospital for welcoming us so warmly and for your genuine interest in our work.
It was also a pleasure to meet R. Scott Fortnum, Shawn Hillhouse and Joanie Maynard, along with so many other inspiring people who share a passion for improving the lives of children in healthcare settings. Thank you for your curiosity, insightful conversations and enthusiasm for exploring new ways to improve children's healthcare experiences.
One of the most exciting outcomes of the conference was the strong interest we received from several Canadian children's hospitals that are now exploring opportunities to learn more about and pilot Doktor Universe solutions in their clinical environments.
We look forward to supporting these teams as they evaluate new ways to create more engaging and child-friendly healthcare environments for children and their families.
We are already looking forward to reconnecting next year in Montreal, sharing experiences and celebrating new successes together.
